Tuesday 19th July 2016 at St Francis Centre, Wretham Road

By popular demand from residents, Action Lozells organised the return of the Lozells Community Awards Ceremony previously held in 2008, 2010 and 2013.

On a hot Summer’s evening in July 2016, local people, community groups, businesses and public servants were celebrated for their contributions to improving life in Lozells. Amidst joyful celebration, powerful testimonies and enjoyable performances, the evening brought the four corners of the neighbourhood together for all to relate and recognise unsung heroes.

An esteemed group of non-partisan judges with strong connections to Lozells had the tough task of deciding on winners for a variety of hotly contested categories.
